Our dear friend Federico needs our help right now! He has been struggling with burdens for some time  that would have collapsed a normal human. He never speaks of it, but we're going to!

He ALWAYS manages to promote music in his beloved Beunos Aires and around the world with rare grace and knowledge. He also ALWAYS spreads warmth and love to all who cross his path on and offline. In a time when live music venues are vanishing almost daily, music publications are folding, musicians are trying to survive in the new digital reality, his is a voice tirelessly singing their praises.

Please donate whatever you can and we'll pass it all on to him in Beunos Aires.

November 8,2009 UPDATE: Your response is heart-warming and humbling. The situation is much better thanks to you.

You have no idea how much this means and it's a big human thing...our family in music globally. These are such hard times everywhere and there's always a fear that if you make a personal situation public, it might somehow reflect back in a negative way on that person's work, what they're trying to do. Some might say,how can he create this great  service for musicians if he has such troubles?

Well, we musicians and artists are no strangers to these troubles and know they have NOTHING to do with quality of the work (except nickel and diming does take its toll on us all).We are learning that THIS family truly cares and takes care of its own.

Federico continues on with his work regardless. He is building an alternative non profit music management company. He's keeping the light on and your support is keeping the wolf from the door.

You are all wonders, each one of you, exceptional artists and human beings.

Mad Bear  was member of the Bear Clan of the Tuscarora Nation of Six-Nation Iroquois Confederacy. An activist, medicine man and world leader.

" Public Social behavior in our culture comes close to being pathological. (In Asia) I got used to seeing people behave communally-like family-even in crowds. In our society, we are swimming in a sea of public paranoia and Mad Bear picks that up. Did you ever notice how people act in places like elevators? They stiffen up, hoping on hope that no "strangers" make the slightest body contact. We people are uncomfortable with each other. Remember we were talking before about empathy? That's Mad Bear's medicine. Empathy."

MUSIC-the great medicine. Oh yes, it is the red road...
